I am grateful to have experienced the blessing of you in my life.
You set in motion a part of who I am and introduced me to my British side.
The hint of a scent or a word someone may say. will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day.
That feels as if it brings you back as clearly as though you where here.
And by faith allows us reassurance that you will always be near.
For if your loved ones keep these moments, we will never be apart, and you will live on forever, locked safely within our hearts.
Remenbering the riddles and nursery rhymes, singing songs, playing cards and rummy.
The laughs we shared and walking the streets of England will always mean the most to me.
A wise woman told me a quote special to her only a week before you went to Heaven, and she said :
As a Mother carries her Daughter, she also carries her Grandchildren because the ovaries and eggs are formed in the Utero.
Therefore my Grandmother carried part of me in her while carrying my Mum.
Hearing this resonated in my heart to know that no matter near or far, we will forever have a bond that can never be broken.
I will forever treasure you Nanny.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Time to rest, my beautiful grandmother.
I love you so.
